Do you have trouble finding the perfect wallpaper on your Mac? Then we might have a solution for you. There is now an app called Plash and that makes it possible to set a website as a background. And we are not talking about a static screenshot, but a working website that is refreshed nicely.

You can download Plash in the App Store and it will show itself from there. It is a simple app that tells you via the corresponding menu bar icon which website you like background want to use. Fill in the URL and you’re done. You can then adjust it as desired. This way you can set the transparency and refresh interval in the preference menu.

Your favorite website as a wallpaper

So you can use Plash to set your favorite website as the background, but also to set Twitter as the background. Or maybe you always want to have your agenda open. Everything is possible. Plash itself gives the tip to use the random function of unsplash. When you do this you get a different background every time.
