The man, who hadn’t posted anything since the first of the year, published the images around 3 am, photos of himself and of the smiling children in the mountains.

The 12-year-old twins, a boy and a girl, suffocated in their sleep, have a backpack on their shoulders, look and point to the mountain tops. It is the photo that stands out on the father’s Fb profile. But there are many other images in which father and children appear smiling, often engaged in mountain excursions, even demanding ones, on one occasion in a trip on a helicopter.
