Photo: KU The municipal enterprise of the Würzburg district (KU) has had a dual leadership since the beginning of April: Together with the previous board of directors Prof. Dr. Alexander Schraml clothed Eva von Vietinghoff-Scheel has the highest management function at the KU and is therefore responsible for the company’s approximately 1,100 employees. Together with the previous district administrator and chairman of the board Eberhard Nuß, Schraml and v. Vietinghoff proposes the new management structure, it says in a press release. “The new is basically not that new, but it now has a name,” said Schraml. “Ms. v. Vietinghoff and I have been working very closely together for years. Ms. v. Vietinghoff has played a key role in the development of important developments within the company since 2016.” “A board structure expanded by Ms. v. Vietinghoff is a sensible consequence of these developments, which go hand in hand with increasing differentiation and expansion of the tasks of the KU,” added Nuss. Current projects As one of the company’s upcoming major projects, the Main-Klinik Ochsenfurt will be completely renovated for around 89 million euros this year. In addition, processes across society as well as new legal regulations pose challenges that the KU is facing. For example, an increasing need for nursing stands in contrast to a shortage of nursing staff – a situation to which the KU reacts with the construction of new senior centers (currently in planning: Uettingen) as well as with plans for the opening of a nursing school. In the area of waste management, increasing legal requirements for the separation and recycling of the various waste fractions make larger spatial capacities necessary at the recycling centers. The current construction projects in this context include the expansion of the Wöllrieder Hof (Rottendorf) and Matzenhecke (Höchberg) recycling centers and the expansion of the company headquarters in Veitshöchheim. “In addition, the KU sees itself as a partner and contact for the municipalities of the district and tries to support them as best as possible with in-house skills and capacities,” said v. Vietinghoff. The KU is currently responsible for personnel management for numerous municipalities. Master the crisis However, dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic is currently a top priority. With the Main Clinic in Ochsenfurt, the senior citizen facilities, waste disposal, drinking water supply and public transport, all of the KU’s priorities are system-critical. “We are currently pooling all our resources to master this crisis well,” explained Schraml. – Wurzburg Waste disposal Waste disposal industry construction Construction projects Eberhard Nuss District administrators Professors recycling Senior centers – – – Related posts:First frost on the way - De StandaardThis morning, the Bangkok crisis is heavy, PM 2.5 dust exceeds the standard 69 areas are likely to i...'The desescalada is also your responsibility', the campaign of Asturias to bring awareness to the ci...How long will it rain in Mendoza?Share this:FacebookX Related Argentine league season canceled due to Corona virus Rouen Airport: during confinement, air traffic controllers subject to periodic penalty payments Leave a Comment Cancel replyCommentName Email Website Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
