On January 25, around 5 a.m., an explosion occurred in a 9-story building. While on the street, an unknown person shot at the apartments of the residents of Kryvyi Rih with an RPG. People were not injured, but experienced stress. Several apartments on the upper floors were damaged by the explosion: windows were broken, batteries were mutilated, and household items were damaged. An RPG was found at the scene.
“The leadership of the Kryvorizka District Police Department, explosives experts and the investigative-operational group are currently working on the spot. All the circumstances of the crime are being investigated. Information on this fact has been entered in the EDPR pursuant to Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism). Measures are being taken to detain a person involved in hooliganism,” the communication department of the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region reported.
As we wrote, a young woman with a small child – the boy is a little over a year old – lived in the apartment that suffered the greatest destruction. Hearing the explosion, she thought that another Russian attack on the city had begun, so she picked up the little boy and carried him outside in a blanket. Fortunately, the mother and child were frightened. Residents of neighboring apartments were also frightened by the explosion.
