Property damage of around 5000 euros was caused in an accident on Sunday night in Lichtenberg. According to the police, the perpetrator has to answer for endangering road traffic because he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. The 33-year-old was driving an Audi from Lichtenberg towards Mulda. He lost control of the car, it went off the road and crashed into an embankment. The driver was not injured, but was taken to a hospital for a blood test because the alcohol test showed a blood alcohol level of 2.36. The police officers also secured the man’s driver’s license.
