The Polish currency is weakening at the beginning of the week. The euro and dollar exchange rates increased by nearly PLN 0.02. The head of the NBP was once again in the center of attention. Adam Glapiński wanted to reassure Poles about prices. However, it gave a signal that the zloty would not receive support soon.
On Monday afternoon, the euro broke PLN 4.52 and is heading towards PLN 4.53. It is almost exactly 2 cents higher than at the end of last week.
The Polish currency is also weaker against the dollar and the franc. The American currency costs PLN 3.81, and on Friday it was possible to buy it on the forex for PLN 3.79. You have to give a penny more for the Swiss currency, in which many Poles still repay their loans.
