The result is slightly better than the preliminary estimates from mid-August.
After a year of negative results, the Polish economy has recovered and should slowly return to the path of rapid growth that it followed before the coronavirus crisis.
Initial estimates of the Gross Domestic Product in the second quarter of 2021 were known in mid-August. At that time, the Central Statistical Office reported that the Polish economy grew by 10.9 percent. per year and by 1.9 percent. on a quarterly basis.

However, the more detailed data released on Tuesday turned out to be slightly better – the Polish economy grew by 11.1 percent. per year and by 2.1 percent. on a quarterly basis.

On Friday, the CSO also announced what influenced economic growth. The data shows that investments in the second quarter increased only by 5%. per year. On the other hand, private consumption increased by 13.3%, and domestic demand increased by 12.8%.
