Introduction

Slasher film Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey emerged as the big winner at the 44th annual Razzie Awards, known for recognizing the worst in filmmaking.

Overview

The poorly received movie, based on the beloved children’s literary character, took home the Razzie in five categories: picture, director, screenplay, screen couple, and remake/rip-off/sequel.

Plot

In this twisted adaptation, Pooh and Piglet transform into bloodthirsty killers, haunting a group of young university women, including the returning Christopher Robin, and terrorizing them in unimaginable ways.

Redefining a Razzie

SAG-AFTRA President and former Razzie nominee, Fran Drescher, was honored with the Razzie Redeemer Award for her outstanding leadership during the 2023 actor strike. Drescher was previously nominated for worst actress in the 1998 romantic comedy The Beautician and the Beast.

Selection Process

Over 1,100 Razzie members from various countries, including the United States, cast their votes to determine the winners in each category.
