From the beginning of 2020, the trade ban is in force in its full form. Thus, most Sundays are non-trading, with only a few exceptions. In 2021, seven were designated shopping sundays. Most are related to events that increase store traffic, such as holidays and the beginning and end of the school year.

Will we go shopping on June 27? Is it shopping Sunday?
Yes, June 27 is a shopping Sunday. Therefore, not only small neighborhood shops run by the owners will be open, but also discount stores such as Ladybug i Lidl and large-format stores. The establishment of the last Sunday in June as a store open day is due to the desire to provide an additional trading day during the summer season sale, which has already started in many stores.
Let us remind you that in all open trade establishments it is obligatory to wear protective masks covering the mouth and nose. Stores are required to provide customers with disposable gloves and hand disinfectants when shopping.
Trading Sundays in 2021
The next shopping Sunday – at the end of August – will be when students return to school. You will have to wait until December for the next two trading Sundays.
Deadlines next Commercial Sundays:
- 29th of August,
- December 12,
- December 19.
From Saturday, June 26, the limits of people in retail outlets will be increased. Acceptable density in shops over 100 sq m is one customer per 10 sq m. (currently one client for 15 sq m). Vaccinated persons will not be counted towards these limits, although it may be difficult to verify them.
