Though Daniel Craig is still linked one more year to the saga of James Bond due to delay of ‘No time to die’, will finally arrive on April 2, a successor has been sought for a long time. And now a new candidate for the position has emerged, Regé-Jean Page, one of the actors of ‘The Bridgertons’, who has run to be the next 007.
He British actor he wants to go from being a Regency-era aristocrat to becoming the most famous spy in the UK. Therefore, in full promotion of the Netflix series, Page has shared a video on social media in which he shows the similarities between the Duke of Hastings and Bond.
“Regency, royalty. Agitated and stirred,” wrote the actor in a video in which his character in ‘The Bridgertons’ exudes elegance. A direct but subtle message, which has revolutionized the fandom, which supports the candidacy of the 30-year-old interpreter to succeed Craig as the next 007.

Due to the support of the fans, it would not be surprising if his name ended up among other candidates who sound very strong, such as Tom Hardy o James Norton. In fact, due to his age, he would be the ideal candidate for those who wanted the next Bond to be black, having Zimbabwean roots.

For now, we have to wait for the Daniel Craig’s latest foray as Britain’s most famous spy agent. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, ‘No Time to Die’ aims to become one of the first blockbusters of 2021, if COVID-19 gives a truce.
