The current Alfa Romeo Giulia has been with us since 2015, but will remain in the offer of the Italian car manufacturer for many more years.
The midsize sedan has recently been modernized and the facelifted version is expected to hit dealerships only in February. It can therefore be assumed that, even as the time approaches when the Giulia will be on the market for eight years, which is the normal life cycle of a car generation, Alfa Romeo will be in no hurry to introduce a successor. .
However, the designer and artist Sugar Chow, known on social media under the nickname sugardesign_1, is already offering his idea of what the new Giulia could look like.
He designed the new generation as a four-door sedan with a rounded roofline, long front hood and short trunk lid. If you then look at the details, you will certainly notice that the front parts are reminiscent of the latest model of the Italian brand, the Tonale SUV. The car got narrow headlights which are well connected to the typical grille, the bumper has an interesting shape.
On the back we see a characteristic diffuser and still narrow lamps. Sugar Chow says their design refers to the Alfa Romeo 156. And he points out the hidden handles in the rear doors. The artist also points out that the vision of him predicts an increase in size compared to the current generation.
We don’t know much about the actual successor to the current sedan, but the latest speculations aren’t very happy. It is rumored that the new generation will offer an all-electric drive. After all, the Alfa Romeo brand wants to sell only electric cars from 2027.
