Owners of food brand “Rūdolfs” invest 7.4 million euros in the development of the company / Article

Egija Martinsone, the founder and owner of the company, has indicated that the financing provided by the bank will be a springboard for future development.

With the installation of new production lines and the development of new products in the coming years, the company plans to double its production capacity and significantly increase the company’s turnover accordingly.

Last year, the company’s turnover was 6.8 million euros, or almost 30% more than in 2020.

In the local market, “Lat Eko Food” sells about 30% of its production and about 70% is exported. The company’s main markets are currently the Scandinavian countries of Finland and Sweden, as well as Austria, Russia, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Israel, the Netherlands and others – a total of more than 30 countries around the world.

At present, more than 200 different types of products are manufactured at the company’s plant in Ādaži, which covers a total area of ​​3,500 square meters. The company has 68 employees.

CONTEXT:

Lat Eko Food was registered in 2010 and its share capital is 14,217 euros. The agency LETA reports that the company’s shares are directly and indirectly owned by Egija Martinsone, who started producing baby food after the birth of Rudolf’s son – both the new plant and the line of organic products for children are named after him.
