Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha had previously announced that he would stop kneeling, and in the home game against West Bromwich it became a reality.
He has called the ritual “Degrading”, and stated in a statement in connection with the kick-off that it did not make any real difference to those who are exposed to racism. He is the first Premier League player not to put a knee down before kick-off.

The match then?
After 37 minutes, a mistake by the home side’s left defense allowed Luka MilivojeviÄ to get through. He outclassed the home side’s keeper, adding another goal for the visitors.
Especially more fun yet it did not happen at Selhurst Park in London, and the home team won the match 1-0.
A heavy result for the WBA, which is eight points from safe ground, with two games more played than Brighton above the relegation line.
In the early match, the German Thomas Tuchel remained undefeated as Chelsea coach, but there was no new victory. The away match against Leeds ended goalless.
