Why Russia Hasn’t Controlled Ukraine’s Capital Kyiv

More than a week Russia launched an invasion on Ukraine. However, the Russian troops have not yet mastered Kyiv fully.

As quoted from the site, Russia is said to have failed to carry out the initial plan because of poor coordination and was considered confusing.

Poor coordination is said to have occurred in the air and on the ground. Russia is considered to have failed to create superiority in the skies of Ukraine with their warplanes.

Poor maneuverability and fire coordination also occurred between air strikes and ground movements. On land, the convoy seemed to be stuck.

Meanwhile, the number of troops deployed to attack the three cities simultaneously, namely Kyiv, Kharkiv, and the city in the north of Crimea, is considered insufficient.

Not to mention, the Ukrainian team also provided fierce resistance in a number of cities entered by the Russian team.

The city wars benefited the Ukrainians more because they controlled the battlefield. They know exactly when to take cover when air strikes hit a city like Kyiv.

Then these Ukrainian guerrillas appeared and carried out a fierce attack on the Russian soldiers who tried to invade. Not a small number of Russian soldiers died and of course losses on the aggressor side.
