If you watched the last Toulouse FC match you may have noticed that the jerseys were printed differently. Indeed, the names of the players did not include the letters A, B and O.
There are small actions which do not cost much but which are ultimately full of common sense. On the occasion of the 20th day of Ligue 2 and the match between Toulouse FC and Grenoble, the jerseys of the club of the pink city have been largely modified at the level of the flockings. Thus, the letters A, B and O were quite simply absent from the players’ outfits but also from the various communication media of the club. Much more than a simple oversight, it is a superb support for the blood donation awareness campaign led by the French Blood Establishment.
Only three letters are missing and t_ut is depopulated
Since January 4, the French blood establishment has been waging a fierce fight to educate all French people about donating blood. Through a campaign called #MissingType, the letters A, B and O are the stars of this operation by being quite simply absent from awareness messages. Wishing to emphasize the three letters that symbolize blood groups and prove the importance of what unfortunately too often appears trivial today, the EFS has received strong support with the TFC club.
When playing its match against Grenoble and for the last day of this campaign, the club which is now playing in Ligue 2 has therefore purely and simply removed these three letters from the names on the back of the players’ shirts. A strong position taken by the club and which offers good visibility to this action.

Because in addition to the jerseys of the players, it is all the social networks of the TFC which followed this initiative and the composition of the team as well as many visuals were designed with this absence of the three letters. Like what, sometimes small ideas and simple put forward by football clubs can give a little more visibility to oh so important actions like this one.
