In the 80s, the actor and stuntman Alexander Inshakov began to gain popularity in the USSR. Martial arts masters immediately called the Soviet Jackie Chan. He managed to make an excellent career, but Inshakov’s relationship with his colleagues did not always go smoothly.
So, on the set of the film “Knight’s Romance”, Alexander was disliked by the recognized beauty of Russian cinema, Vera Sotnikova. The actors began to conflict almost from the first minute of cooperation. Further more. Once Inshakov said something harsh to Sotnikova in the heat of the moment, and the offended Vera disrupted the shooting of the whole group. However, such intensity of passions even benefited the film. The actors had to play a love scene, and they put all their hatred into it. According to Inshakov, the result was excellent.
The events of the film “Knight’s Romance” unfold in the XI century during the first crusade.
