Loaned for two seasons at Borussia Dortmund, Achraf Hakimi will join Real Madrid at the end of the season. But not for long, since the Moroccan side is announced at Inter. According to Sky Sport, negotiations between the leaders of the Italian club and their Real Madrid counterparts are very advanced and the transfer could be concluded around 40 million euros.
But the big question is why Real wants to sell Hakimi when the latter is in the sights of the biggest European clubs.
The daily AS answered this question in its Saturday edition. According to the Spanish media, whose explanations are relayed by 360 Sport, Hakimi recently informed his training club that he did not intend to be the backing for Dani Carvajal. From then on, the Madrid club understood that a choice had to be made. This is the reason why he decided to cede the Atlas Lion to Inter, a club which will make good use of its qualities, particularly with the scheme of three central defenders and two advanced lane players used by Antonio Conte. Inter is therefore considered the perfect club for Hakimi.
Another reason why the Moroccan will join Inter is his salary. The Lombard club offered him a 5-year contract in Morocco with a salary of 5 million euros net per year. A salary that is higher than that which he will receive at Real Madrid.
