To contend for the title during the final were: for the “Loredana team” Erminio Sinni e Giovanna Sorrentino; for the “Gigi team” Marco Guerzoni e Elena Ferretti; for the “Carrisi team” Tony Reale e Rita Mammolotti; for the “Clementino team” Roberto Tomasi e Alan Farrington. This time it was the public from home to decide the fate of the competitors and with the stop of the first televoting, the trio of the podium was identified: Erminio Sinni, Marco Guerzoni and Elena Ferretti. The three had another opportunity to perform and, after the new home audience vote, it was Erminio Sinni to be elected winner of the first edition of The Voice Senior, awarded by the director of Rai1 Stefano Coletta, who wanted to summarize the show in one sentence: “It’s never too late to have a happy childhood”.
Erminio Sinni brought the song to the final “Hand in hand” of Riccardo Cocciante, the same with which he had convinced the judges during the Blind Auditions. The singer, originally from Bagno di Gavorrano in the province of Grosseto, has won a vinyl with his performances and an unreleased song recorded and published by Universal.
