For the second consecutive year, both the number of billionaires worldwide, as well as their total wealth, has declined. According to Forbes, in 2023, the number of billionaires fell from 2,668 in 2022 to 2,640 this year. On the other hand, the total wealth of billionaires dropped by $500 billion.
