GENEVA, June 29. / TASS /. The completion of the coronavirus pandemic is not yet visible, the incidence is accelerating. This was announced on Monday at a briefing in Geneva by the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adan Gebreyesus.

“The virus still has a lot of room to move,” he said. “The harsh reality is that the pandemic has not even come to an end,” said the CEO. “Although many countries have made progress overall, the pandemic is accelerating.”
The WHO head said that an expert meeting would be held this week to evaluate research progress and to prioritize the response to the coronavirus-induced COVID-19 disease at a new stage.
