Which is the cheapest electric car IT.dir.bg

The KarK K5 electric car, which claims to be the cheapest in the world, is already on sale in China. Priced at just $ 2,100, the car is unlikely to undermine the business of players like Tesla, but it will definitely find its contingent of buyers, technews.bg reports.

The characteristics of the electric Kar K5 make its right to be called an electric car somewhat questionable – in many respects the model corresponds to the ATV category. Nevertheless, the car can be considered a competitor to miniature European electric cars such as the Citroën Ami (€ 6,900) or the Freze Nikrob (€ 9,999).

The model, also known as the K5M-2500, is manufactured by Regal Raptor Motors, known for its electric transport solutions. The cheapest electric car is sold on the Chinese market by Alibaba.

In fact, the electricKar K5 is a bit more expensive than the iPhone 12 Pro Max smartphone with 512 GB of memory, which is about $ 1,850 in China.

By the way, if someone buys a K5M-2500 wholesale, 10 pieces, then the electric car will come out cheaper than an Apple smartphone – the price for one piece is only 1800 dollars, notes Byri.

ElectricKar K5 has dimensions of 2.2 × 1.09 × 1.62 m and can accommodate two people. The 2.7 kWh (72 V) battery is charged in 8 hours from a household outlet. The 800 W electric motor provides speeds of up to 40 km / h, and with a single charge the electric car travels 66 km.

In comparison, the popular Ather 450X electric scooter has a 6000 W motor, a 2.9 kWh battery with a charging time of 5.45 hours and a mileage of 80 km. It costs about the same money.

Despite the interesting design, price and features, the appearance of this electric car outside China is unlikely, as after customs procedures it will cost much more than 2100 dollars.
