Where to see fireworks for the 4th of July in the tri-state area? – Telemundo New York (47)

The celebration of Independence Day is one of the most anticipated holiday weekends by residents of the country due to the meaning behind this day and the different events that take place to celebrate it.

One of the ways to celebrate the 4th of July is to visit one of the points where the well-known fireworks shows take place.

The tri-state area has some of the most traditional events in the nation, such as the well-known Macy’s fireworks or the one with the pJones Beach State Arch or the many that are celebrated on the beaches of the region.

Here we bring you some of the events in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut that you could attend and celebrate this date.

JULY 4 IN NEW YORK

  • MACY’S FIREWORKS SHOW

Macy’s iconic Independence Day fireworks show returns to New York City in full force this summer to celebrate the 46th annual event, organizers announced.

The nation’s largest party is scheduled to kick off around 9:25 pm on Monday, July 4, with more than 48,000 rockets and effects launching from the five barges located between 23rd and 42nd streets on Manhattan’s East River. The magic can be seen for two hours on our sister network NBC.

Among the artists are Pitbull.

  • THE 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION AT JONES BEACH

The traditional Independence Day celebration will take place at Jones Beach State Park with a 25-minute fireworks display. Jovia Financial Credit Union which will feature a variety of colors and views that will light up the sky at Long Island’s popular waterfront park.

Celebrate the 4th of July at Coney Island on the boardwalk for a spectacular beachfront fireworks display. The show would start around 9:30 pm

  • 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION AT THE EDGE BUILDING

Adventure seekers will have the unique opportunity to view the 4th of July fireworks display from a completely unobstructed perspective as they traverse the City Climb, the world’s tallest open-air building ascent.

With the experience beginning at 7:45 p.m., climbers have the opportunity to scale the exterior of a skyscraper more than 1,200 feet above the ground to be inside the horizon as the celebration lights up the sky after 9:00 p.m.

Edge Edge, New York City’s tallest outdoor observer, will also host an exclusive 4th of July celebration, inviting visitors to enjoy all of the fireworks displays from the best vantage point in town. From 7:00 pm to midnight on July 4, 2022, ticket holders will have private access to explore the Edge’s indoor and outdoor viewing areas with its exciting glass floor, angled glass walls and steps on the skyline, all while enjoying fireworks throughout New York City.

  • CENTRAL ASTORIA ANNUAL INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Astoria in Queens will celebrate Independence Day on June 29 with a concert and fireworks starting at 7:30 p.m.

  • FIREWORKS AT THE EMPIRE STATE PLAZA

New York State’s 4th of July celebration is recognized as the biggest and best in Upstate New York. This event features an exciting program filled with live music from Starship with Mickey Thomas, great food and drinks, and the best fireworks display in the region.

The event will be on July 4th from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

JULY 4 IN NEW JERSEY

  • FESTIVAL OF LIBERTY AND FIREWORKS IN JERSEY CITY

Jersey City’s Independence Day celebration is one of the largest events in the region, attracting some 150,000 people from throughout the tri-state area.

Jersey City Mayor Steven M. Fulop announced that Flo Rida will headline this year for the 4th of July. There will also be Shaquille O’Neal, known as DJ Diesel and Funk Flex before Flo Rida.

Following world-class musical performances live from the stage, fireworks will light up the Jersey City sky with views of Manhattan. The Jersey City fireworks will be launched from two barges located in the middle of the Hudson River with a large viewing area this year. Spectators can watch the fireworks show starting around 9:30 pm along the Hudson River Walkway, from the north field at Liberty State Park, with most overlooking areas of The Heights.

  • FOURTH OF JULY IN UNION COUNTY

The 4th of July show will take place in Biertuempfel Park.

The night will kick off with a concert at 7:30 pm with the Silver Arrow Band as they play high-energy music from classical to pop, followed by a fireworks display.

Milltown will once again be home to the 4th of July events with various activities throughout the day and fireworks around 9:30 p.m.

  • WILDWOOD 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS

This special fireworks display is timed to patriotic music played on the Wildwoods Boardwalk sound system. released from Pine Avenue & the Beach, the fireworks are visible from anywhere on the boardwalk. Fireworks start at 10:00 pm

JULY 4 IN CONNECTICUT

  • 3-D FIREWORKS AT QUASSY – MIDDLEBURY CT

Spend the day at the Quassy Amusement & Waterpark, and then celebrate the 4th of July that night with a 3D fireworks display. The fireworks will be launched from barges on the nearby lake so everyone can see them clearly.
