Hate speech case suspect, Sugi Nur Rahardja alias Gus Nur, feel right and do not want to pull his words related Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). GP Ansor surprised with Gus Nur who mentioned his expression as a form of affection for NU.
“Yes, it deserves to be punished severely and fairly. Where there are expressions of hatred, incitement and slander like that, why are expressions of affection,” General Chairman GP Ansor Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, when contacted by detikcom, Friday (30/10/2020).
Gus Yaqut warned Gus Nur not to repeat his actions. He said Gus Nur would deal with the law if the action was repeated.
“Regarding he will not be deterred even though he is in prison, we will see after he gets out of sentence. If it is still the same, he will definitely face the law again,” he said.
According to Gus Yaqut, NU is very open to criticism. “It is very open to criticism. Because it is vitamin and healthy,” he said.

At 3:45 a.m. in the video, Gus Nur expressed his opinion about the current condition of NU. According to Gus Nur, the current NU is not like the old NU.
