Two weeks after the first injection administered in Dijon, at least nine vaccination centers are now open in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, including six vaccination centers in Burgundy from January 7. Healthcare professionals over the age of 50 or with co-morbidities are a priority for now.
In each department of the Burgundy region, whether in Côte-d’Or, Nièvre, Saône-et-Loire or Yonne, at least one vaccination center refers to these priority people (see the list of these people below). “Other centers will come quickly to improve the network of the territory to limit travel” promises the ARS Burgundy-Franche-Comté, which states that “the entire Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region has 55,575 doses of vaccines “.
This vaccination campaign has already started in nursing homes in Côte-d’Or and Yonne since the start of this week.
Open centers for professionals
In addition to the elderly in an establishment and caregivers at risk of severe form working in these establishments, vaccination is now available, as of January 7, to “health professionals, as well as home helpers and firefighters, when they are over 50 years of age or have serious risk factors for Covid-19” further details the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté ARS.
