The average salary in April among all open vacancies on the personnel portal is UAH 18,700.

Medium wage in Ukraine decreased by 10% compared to the first half of February 2022.

This is evidenced by the results of a study by the expert-analytical center of the grc.ua personnel portal.

“The war has forced Ukrainian businesses to optimize their costs by cutting wages and bonuses. Employers are now offering new employees a lower salary. Compared to the average salary in the first half of February 2022, the current average salary has decreased by 10%,” the report says.

It is noted that the average salary in April among all open vacancies on the personnel portal is UAH 18,700.

The IT industry suffered the least from the labor market crisis. On average, in all regions of Ukraine, IT specialists are offered UAH 108,100 in April, last month the average salary in the IT sector was UAH 86,500.

High salaries are also offered to managers. The average salary in top management in April is UAH 63,200. However, under the conditions of war, the number of job offers for directors dropped significantly. A new trend in the labor market is that, faced with employment problems due to the extremely low number of vacancies, highly qualified specialists, in particular, top-level specialists, settle for lower-skilled positions.

The top five professional areas that offer high salaries in April also include specialists in the field of marketing, advertising, PR with an average monthly payment of UAH 26,600, specialists in the extraction of raw materials (UAH 26,500), as well as specialists in the construction industry (UAH 25,300). ).

The top five professions with the lowest salaries in April included HR managers (UAH 15,500), medical specialists, pharmaceuticals (UAH 14,900), HoReCa specialists (UAH 14,000). The lowest salaries in April are offered on average in agriculture (UAH 13,300) and in the automotive business (UAH 11,000).
