President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) this afternoon attended the inauguration of the NasDem Party’s DPP office in Jakarta, which was named the NasDem Tower. There were two interesting moments before the inauguration of the NasDem Tower began, which involved President Jokowi and the General Chairperson (Ketum) of NasDem Surya Paloh.
The first moment was when Surya Paloh invited President Jokowi to sit in the chair of the General Chair of NasDem. The second moment was when Surya Paloh gave the NasDem Tower library membership card to President Jokowi’s grandchildren, Jan Ethes and Sedah Mirah.
Before the inauguration ceremony began, President Jokowi was invited by Surya Paloh to look at the facilities at the NasDem Tower. Jokowi was invited by Paloh to the office of the General Chairperson of NasDem. That’s when Paloh invited Jokowi to sit in the chair of the General Chair of NasDem.
“What is this, sitting in the chair of the chairman. It’s a joke, and those are the signs,” said the MC at the inauguration of the NasDem Tower, which was broadcast live on the NasDem TV YouTube channel, Tuesday (22/2/2022).

Only then was President Jokowi invited by Paloh to see the library located on one of the floors of the NasDem Tower, which was named the Panglima Itam Library. It was then that Paloh gave Jokowi the Panglima Itam Library membership card, one for Jan Ethes and the other for Sedah Mirah.
“And here we will witness Mr. Surya Paloh giving the Panglima Itam Library card in the name of his grandchildren, Jan Ethes and Sedah Mirah, which was given to his beloved grandfather, Mr. Joko Widodo,” he said.
“Give me one more round of applause. This is a surprise for Mr. Jokowi too,” he added.
Jokowi seemed happy to receive the Panglima Itam Library card for Jan Ethes and Sedah Mirah. He was also seen laughing when Paloh gave him the card.
