MENLO PARK, iNews.id – WhatsApp seems to be preparing a new feature that users have been waiting for. Earlier this week, Meta’s messaging platform brought a highly sought-after functionality, eliminating the requirement for an online connection on a smartphone to allow it to be used across multiple devices.
Now, WhatsApp has announced another useful and requested feature of users which is to hide Last Seen status from certain contacts. This function will give the user the option of anonymity.
WhatsApp users will be able to select the contacts they don’t want to share their last seen status with. In the current stable version, WhatsApp only allows three options.
First, you can let everyone with your number see the user’s last seen. Second, only people in contacts or you can set it to anyone. This would be a welcome change for people who want to have some privacy from their coworkers, bosses, parents, and extended family members.
