Liputan6.com, Jakarta – WhatsApp is reportedly testing new capabilities in its app. This time, the test was carried out on the Last Seen feature.
Quoted from GSM Arena, Friday (11/12/2021), WhatsApp is known to be testing a new capability that allows users to set the Last Seen option in their status.
With this trial, users WhatsApp given the option to hide Last Seen or last seen online from specific people. Because, now there is an additional ‘My Contacts except’ option.
As for now, the only available options are ‘Everyone’, ‘My contacts’, and ‘Nobody’. So, with this additional option, users can more freely manage the Last Seen feature, from the people in their contacts.
However, there is no information when this capability will be rolled out to all users. Currently, WhatsApp is only testing it on a number of users who are already enrolled in the beta program.
