WhatsApp does not yet have a tablet version. This should now change, a screenshot should already show the iPad app.

So far, WhatsApp cannot be used easily on Android tablets or the iPad, even if the devices are equipped with a SIM card. But this should change soon.
Like the tech blog WABetaInfo reports, an iPad and Android tablet version of the messenger will appear soon.
The website also publishes a screenshot showing the WhatsApp iPad app. This is structured in a similar way to a mail program. You can see your chat list on the left, the chat you have called up on the right.
WhatsApp will soon be able to be used not only on tablets, you will also soon be able to use the messenger with the same account on up to four devices at the same time. Facebook has already confirmed this, but does not reveal when you can expect the new feature. The multi-device function is currently only available for selected WhatsApp beta testers.
