The feature is currently reportedly only available to Android beta testers and comes with WhatsApp beta for Android version number 2.23.11.19.

Furthermore, WABetaInfo explained that users will see a new icon located on the call control display, which will be used to share their screen. Later, when the user decides to share their screen, what is displayed on the screen will be recorded and shared with the recipient.

Apart from that, it is also said that the user can have full control over the feature. One of them, can stop the process at any time. In addition, this feature will only be activated if the user gives consent to share the content of his screen.

Previously, WhatsApp was also developing a feature to edit messages that had been sent. But until now this feature has not been rolled out to general users.
