WhatsApp Launches New Sticker Editor Feature for Android Users: How to Create Your Own Stickers

WhatsApp, the messaging application, is currently preparing to launch a new feature that allows users to create their own stickers, especially for users of the Android operating system.

Launch Betweenthis information was first reported by WABetaInfo, which revealed that the new sticker editor feature is now available in the beta version of the WhatsApp application on Android.

A similar feature is actually not new news for iOS-based iPhone users, because the ability to become a sticker editor in the WhatsApp application has been available on iOS for some time.

As for the “edit” version of stickers on Android, it allows users to convert stickers from images.

There is also the ability to edit existing stickers and is presented via the “edit sticker” option.

When an image is selected to be turned into a sticker, the app opens the image editor and highlights the subject.

Additional stickers are available at the bottom of the screen if the user is not satisfied with what WhatsApp automatically selects the first time the user selects an image.

Currently, the sticker editor is only available to a limited number of Android users. But it can be assumed that a wider rollout will occur in the coming weeks.

It’s hard to say when it will hit the stable version of WhatsApp, but the feature may arrive in the next few months. (ant/azw/ham/ipg)
