Representatives of the WhatsApp application introduced a completely new feature to its chat application, which is turned on by 2.7 billion users every month. Thanks to pinning of important messages, you will never miss a message again.

WhatsApp can pin messages
Right in WhatsApp, you now have the option to pin a message to the top. This means that you can return to it with one click, you don’t need to scroll through kilometers of texts in the past. Just hold your finger on the message and select the pin option.
You can pin a message in a group chat or in a chat with just one contact. You can choose from several options: short-term pin for 24 hours, pin for 7 days or up to 30 days. The feature is already available these days for Android, iPhone, and a desktop version for Windows computers. If it hasn’t arrived yet, don’t worry, the update is being distributed gradually.
Until now, it was only possible to give stars to messages, but that is not the same thing. You can view your favorite messages in a special window with your contact or in a group. And speaking of contacts, in the past WhatsApp has already introduced the pin contact feature. In the contacts menu, you can therefore have some favorite contacts pinned at the very top.
