The media to understand the economy of tomorrow

The whole world is facing the side effects of the health crisis that has lasted for more than two years and the need to preserve health – physical and mental – is at the heart of all concerns. To support this movement, Huawei has decided to place the ninth edition of its Digital InPulse (DIP) competition under the sign of “well-being”. The Chinese telecom company wants to tackle the issues surrounding this theme, since it has always wanted to put technology and innovation at the service of healthy living. The company supports the development of connected health, be it telemedicine or activity tracker with the recent release of the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro watch.

30,000 euros and access to the Chinese market for the winners

This year, DIP is therefore aimed at startups that develop tech solutions or innovative products that contribute to well-being, living well, eating well and aging well. This concerns the sectors of smart health, connected sport, FoodTech, SilverTech and all the innovations that seek to improve the quality of life at home and at work. Startups wishing to develop internationally, and especially on the Asian market, are invited to apply in the metropolises of Paris, Lille, Lyon, Nice and Strasbourg where the various competition auditions will take place from September. The winners from each city will each win a check for 30,000 euros for the first prize and 20,000 euros for the second.

At the end of its tour of France, Digital InPulse will organize for all the winners, by videoconference, a series of exchanges with southern China. As for the winners of previous editions, they will be able to compare their solution with the local market and discuss with a wide range of interlocutors ranging from potential technological partners to suppliers of electronic components, including distributors, future customers and researchers. ” It was a great opportunity for us to make contact with the Huawei group first, and then to be accompanied in attacking the Chinese market, understanding its codes and avoiding a certain number of pitfalls. “says Alain Jutant, whose startup Food won the Lyon stage on the theme of “Green Tech” in 2021.

Applications are open until August 28

Startups who wish to do so can apply now via the dedicated site until August 28. Their teams must offer an innovative and mature solution related to the given theme, which can be extended internationally. The quality of the business plan, the economic feasibility and the viability of the company are essential criteria for the selection of their project.

The auditions of the startups, selected on file, will be organized between September and November. The jury for this ninth edition will be made up of several Huawei representatives, a DIP alumni or a seasoned entrepreneur, representatives of the Richelieu Committee and the local incubator, partner for each stage.
