WhatsApp is expected to roll out a new audio message feature for iOS users. According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp Currently testing 1.0x, 1.5x, and 2.0x read speeds for audio messages on the platform. The report reveals that the feature is available on version 2.21.60.11 of WhatsApp which is “not yet ready for the public”. The feature is likely to roll out for Android and iOS users. The report also shared some screenshots to show off the new functionality.
This supposed feature is likely to help users who don’t want to waste too much time listening to long WhatsApp audio messages.
