MENLO PARK – WhatsApp lately continues to provide feature updates in the application, including voicemail.
After releasing a feature that allows users to listen to voice messages at different speeds, this time WhatsApp develop voice message player with new style.
This new feature called ‘global voice message player’ was discovered by the WABetaInfo page. This feature is currently under development, so it is not yet publicly available.

In its report, WABetaInfo said this new feature allows users to access the voicemail player and listen to voice messages when leaving a chat.
Called global because the voicemail player will be placed at the top of the application and is always visible when the user opens any section of WhatsApp. Users can also pause voice messages and close the player at any time.
This feature is useful when the user receives a long voice message. In this case, the user can continue to send messages to other contacts even while listening to another voice message.

During development, this feature was seen in the WhatsApp beta for iOS, but WhatsApp is also planning to introduce the same feature in the WhatsApp beta for Android.
Seeing that this feature is under development, WhatsApp may change the appearance of the global voicemail player, such as colors and interface before release. But again, because it’s still in the development stage, other things could change.
