After testing the function in its latest beta versions, WhatsApp announced the arrival of QR codes, a feature with which the service allows adding to users quickly by scanning the codes with the mobile camera, thus avoiding having to enter the phone numbers manually.
The messaging application will now allow you to make video calls with up to eight participants, and now users will be able to focus their attention on one of the participants and maximize it by holding down their window. A video icon will also be added in group chats of eight people or less to be able to initiate video calls with a single touch.
Among the other novelties that will come to the application is also the dark mode for computers, which can be used from WhatsApp Web and the desktop version, while the states that disappear every 24 hours will also reach the WhatsApp version for the KaiOS operating system.
These functions will be available to users of the latest versions of WhatsApp in the coming weeks, as confirmed by the Facebook-owned application.
