The chat app also makes it easier to share contact information with people in the real world. By showing a special QR code, another just needs to scan it to add you.
During group conversations, it becomes possible to zoom in on a person during a video group conversation. WhatsApp’s desktop app is being redesigned and is getting a dark mode.
The new feature is not immediately available: an update will be rolled out for supported smartphones in the coming weeks.
