What will Avatar 3 be about? Both fire and the dark side of the Na’vi will play an important role

The Na’vi aliens live on the moon Pandora in the Alpha Centauri star system, whose peaceful life is threatened by the arrival of greedy human conquerors. The basic idea of the film Avatars not much has changed in the first two parts, but the upcoming sequel to James Cameron’s sci-fi saga will upset the established order. And it will prove that the Na’vi aren’t just a bunch of good guys in loincloths who like to hug trees.

Not only in Czech cinemas after the December premiere still reigns Avatar: The Way of Water, but viewers can already look forward to the third film in the film series. This is fully filmed, it was created together with the second part, most of the work was even completed three years ago. Director James Cameron has now revealed in an interview what fans of science fiction and spectacular digital entertainment will see on cinema screens in a year.

“You will see different indigenous cultures than we have shown so far. I want to present the Na’vi in a different light, because so far we have only seen their good side. In the first two films we have examples of very negative human characters and, conversely, positive Na’vi. In Avatar 3, we’re going to do the opposite.” he replied French newspaper 20 minutes when asked what the third film will be about.

Mostly peaceful jungle dwellers from thirteen years old Avatars in the second part, they added Na’vi from the islands and coral reefs of the oceans of the fictional moon Pandora in the real Alpha Centauri star system. They shared a reverence for life and a strong spirituality, and even the most conflicted or least hopeful aliens were wise and good-natured compared to the often greedy and militaristic human colonizers.

But the new Aboriginal tribe will show a radical departure from idealized life and the elements of land and water. Cameron calls the unreleased Na’vi “ashes to men” and mentions their association with the element of fire. Despite the news, the sequels are still expected to follow the fate of the main characters, namely Jake Sully, a human in the body of the Na’vi, and his family. Which, by the way, at CzechCrunch, we are in the latter Avataru amused and visually excited, though We definitely wouldn’t give them an Oscar for screenplay.

According to the director, their storylines intertwined with other breathtaking landscapes in the unexplored corners of Pandora should offer visitors an even better experience than the first two films. “Later parts of the series will be the best. The previous ones were a presentation of the story, setting the table before the main course. Cameron spared no confidence. It shouldn’t be just empty words, but his portfolio adds to that of the Oscar Titanic and nice sequels Terminator or aliens.

Convince yourself of the qualities of the third out of five Avatars viewers will be able to do it in December next year, the other parts will follow with a two-year interval each time. Let’s hope there is no oversaturation. However, the current slide with a caption The water way has recently become only the seventh film in history to surpass $1 billion in salesand shows that the demand for three-dimensional travel into the future is huge.

In addition to the practically finished trilogy, the filmmakers have already completed the first work on the fourth Avataru. “We were the first to write the scripts for episodes two through five. The actors have read them and know what will happen to their characters. Then we filmed a double. And 95 percent of the three, we still have something to do. And we already have shot the first act of the fourth film”, he said in a December interview for Collider magazine, producer Jon Landau.

Like Cameron, he also hinted at the direction future films will take. “Each film shows you a new piece of Pandoran nature and a new Na’vi culture,” cited Landau, who also produced the first one with the director Avatars since 2009. So it might not end with fiery, ashy, and not-so-good aliens.
