Step 1: wait for the call from the Primary Health Insurance Fund

Step 2: interview with the CPAM

Step 3: the test
If you are in contact, two solutions: you feel symptoms and in this case you must be tested as soon as possible, or else you do not feel any symptoms and you will need to make an appointment for a test 7 days after your last contact with the positive person. Please note: according to Santé Publique France, you can be contagious from 2 to 3 days before, and up to 8 days after the onset of symptoms. The CPAM sends you a list of laboratories where you can go for the tests.
Step 4: Isolation
It is necessary to restrict your circle of contact: you will be recommended to telework if possible, otherwise the CPAM will put you in touch with a doctor in order to have you prescribed a sick leave. Similarly, the CPAM may allow you to collect masks for free from a pharmacy.
