what security measures for the markets in Savoie and Haute-Savoie?

Since May 11, markets are allowed unless the mayors or the prefects consider that they are not able to enforce the barrier gestures. Some markets will therefore reopen and others, already present, will adapt to enforce barrier gestures. Note that it is now forbidden to touch the products, traders serve customers directly with masks and gloves to limit the risk of transmission.

Savoie

Chambéry. The market will again take place in Geneva as before the confinement and is extended to the town hall to space the stands sufficiently. The organic market also resumes this week. This is also the case for non-food traders who will once again be able to set up on the market. The halls remain open at the same hours.

Aix les Bains. The market (food and non food) opened again from Wednesday May 13th. It has been widened around Place Clémenceau and the square to respect the distances (parking spaces have therefore been eliminated). A single direction of circulation is implemented. The wearing of a mask and gloves is compulsory for traders, customers entering the halls are also obliged to wear a mask.

Albertville. The Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday markets are open again. Entrances and exits will be separate and people will ensure that barrier movements and safety distances in the aisles are respected. For the moment only subscribed traders are authorized to take part.

Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. The market has been open for several weeks. It remains accessible only to traders subscribed with precautionary measures such as barriers along stands to prevent customer contact with the products. No traffic direction is set up.

La Motte-Servolex. The market reopened on Tuesday 12 May for subscribed traders only. The stands are spaced and queues with a traffic direction are delimited.

The Ravoire. The market having remained open during confinement, there is no change for La Ravoire which opens its market to food and non-food traders, whether they are subscribed or not.

Moûtiers. The market is open only to regular traders. Wearing a mask is recommended for customers. Barriers delimit the market but no direction of traffic imposed.

Bourg-Saint-Maurice. The market, which has been reopened for several weeks, will be extended and will welcome more traders (food and non-food).

Saint-Alban-en-Leysse. the measures remain the same as those applied since April 1. Hydroalcoholic gel is available at the entrance and a marking on the ground indicates the distances to be respected.

Haute-Savoie

Annecy. Most of the markets resumed this week in the Annecy agglomeration with spacing of traders and barriers to delimit the market. The Boulevard Taine market remains closed because the configuration does not allow enough space between the benches. In the other 11, the system varies according to the configuration ranging from the installation of a traffic direction to traffic on one side of the street to install the queues.

Annemasse. The market resumed on Tuesday Place de la Liberation for food traders and producers of plans and flowers only. Barriers are put in place at the entrance with hydroalcoholic gel, as well as controls to limit the number of people present at the same time. A single traffic direction is also implemented.

Chamonix. The market is open to regular traders (whether they are in the food industry or not). But wearing a mask is compulsory for traders and customers (order made this Friday, May 15). Place Mont Blanc is delimited by barriers and filtering is implemented at the entrance.

Cluses. The municipal police are present to enforce the safety distances in the two markets. Barriers delimit access and hydroalcoholic gel is self-service at the entrance.

Saint-Julien-en-Genevois. the market opened again this week. It is only open to traders accustomed to the market. This week it was reserved for traders offering food but will gradually be open to all exhibitors. The stands are spaced and a traffic direction is set up, delimited by barriers. Hydroalcoholic gel will be present on each stand (supplied by traders).

Sallanches. The market is back on the quays as before the confinement and is no longer limited in terms of traders and customers. Wearing a mask is highly recommended and traders must respect precautionary measures, in particular not allowing customers to come into contact with the products.
