PEOPLE’S MIND – Recently, viral on Twitter a child with cerebral palsy was brought by his mother using a wheelchair to car free day (CFD) Jakarta.
The mother carried a poster that read, “Please, my son needs medical marijuana”. The mother’s photo is widely circulated in cyberspace.
So, what is cerebral palsy?
Cerebral palsy is a motor disorder that affects a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture.
Cerebral palsy is caused by abnormal brain development or damage to the developing brain, which affects a child’s ability to control his muscles.
The cause of cerebral palsy is not only a lack of oxygen at birth, but abnormal brain development before and shortly after the child is born.
In fact, cerebral palsy can occur when the child enters the age of one month to the first year.
