The high beam differs so little from the low beam that in our conditions and places where the car is used, it is not only uncomfortable, but also a bit dangerous. The only solution is extra high beam.
Lazer Lamps Limited was founded ten years ago in 2010, so relatively recently, but has become one of the strongest players in the aftermarket lamp business. As the stiff British got it ready, we asked Modri Žeimutas, the head of the racing and power goods division of Ape Motors distributor of Lazer Lamps. “The legend is that the people who started it came from motorsport,” said Modris Žeimuts, head of the Ape Motors Racing & Performance division. That explains a lot. Ben Russell Smith, founder of Lazer Lamps, has been working on car headlights since 2002 at both the Nissan Europe Technical Center and Ford of Europe. Ben seems to get along well with M-Sport boss Malcolm Wilson, so the Lazer auxiliary lights were tested in the Ford WR program. And, yes, the world champion from Estonia Ots Tanāks has also ridden them. But we are not world champions, but ordinary riders with dark roads and tricky headlights.
