What foods are rich in vitamin D? | The world speaks

Vitamin D is a nutrient that the body naturally produces when you expose your skin to the sun, but it is also found as a component in some foods.

As the specialist interviewed on Verbește lumea says – says nutritionist Mario Popescu, vitamin D “is life”.

This vitamin is also called calciferol, it contributes to the absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the body and to the maintenance of their optimal levels, being important for the development and strengthening of bones, but also for increasing immunity in the elderly and children.

Vitamin D supports the body both physically and mentally, and the foods in which it is found in large quantities are:

egg – recommended boiled or poached; the yolk as soft as possible, so as not to become toxic;

Over – this includes canned sardines;

Livers

yogurt and dairy products – in particular kefir, which can also be consumed by lactose intolerant people;

mushrooms
