This contract intends to contribute to the achievement of three objectives. The first is to strengthen citizenship and prevention. The second is to guarantee the tranquility and security of everyday life to preserve the living environment and the third to contribute to local justice, to support and accompany aid to victims.
Significant human and financial resources
- 42 additional national police officers strengthen the staff of the departmental public security directorate, including 20 arrived at the end of 2020.
- 30 new municipal police posts will be open by 2023, and 20% of the municipal police force will constitute a unit dedicated to the prevention and fight against disturbances to public tranquility will be created.
- 5.5 additional positions were created with the public prosecutor to implement local criminal justice.
- Credits from the Interministerial Crime Prevention Fund will be mobilized for the youngest, to develop prevention actions against violence, “positive occupation” devices for public space in city policy districts and training courses relating to the values of the Republic.
- Doubling the number of TIG and TNR (community service / unpaid work) hosted by the city of Dijon.
- Continuation of development of the video protection camera network of the city (between 14 and 20 additional cameras per year).
- Creation of a second post of social worker in the police station and a psychologist at the police station, to better support victims of violence, particularly within the family.
- The local police station at Les Grésilles will be renovated.
- Reinforcement of the national police fleet.
Reinforced cooperation
The CSI sets up reinforced cooperation mechanisms in addition to the partnership bodies that already exist:
- The city of Dijon will facilitate the reception and installation of new police officers in the city by dedicating a contact person and a dedicated space to them at 11 rue l’Hôpital.
- The Dijon municipal police will be involved in the implementation of local criminal justice.
- The State and the prosecutor undertake to increase the number of anti-narcotics operations on public roads and the Dijon municipal police to communicate to the CROSS (operational intelligence unit on narcotics) the information collected in the field.
- Signature of a quadripartite agreement on residential tranquility in the second quarter of 2021 with social landlords (HLM).
- Signature of an agreement between the city of Dijon and Kéolis on transport security.
