Al-Marsad Newspaper: An Egyptian young man documented a video clip showing what can be bought for 100 riyals in Saudi Arabia.
The young man said: I bought a bottle of oil of a liter and a half, 4 cans of fava beans, and 3 cans of tuna, each for about 30 riyals.
And he continued: I brought two bags of onions for 5 riyals and two bags of potatoes for 5 riyals, and I brought cucumbers, carrots and zucchini for 10 riyals, and we are still in Saudi Arabia.
He added: I brought a kilo and a half of tomatoes, a carton of eggs, a 10-kilo flour check for 8 riyals, 80 halalas, a 4-kilo pasta check and a chilled chicken.
He confirmed that all the foodstuffs he bought cost him 100 riyals and 40 halalas, reviewing the bill at all prices.
