Markus Anfang has resigned as footballer coach Werder Bremen because he is suspected of falsifying a coronavirus vaccination certificate. The DPA reported.
The coach of the second-league German club said in a statement: “Due to the extremely stressful situation for the club, my family and me, I decided to end as the coach of Werder Bremen.
The Bremen prosecutor’s office confirmed on Friday that it had launched an investigation against Anfang. The Public Health Office filed a criminal complaint against him. Anfang told club officials that he was fully vaccinated and did not use a fake certificate.
