WEATHER REPORT. The snow is back in Burgundy!

It’s spring, but the snow is back! This Saturday, April 2, the snowflakes continue to fall in Burgundy. The four departments are placed in snow-ice yellow vigilance until Sunday.

It’s a funny surprise that awaited some of you this Saturday, April 2 in the morning. By opening your shutters, you may have been able to discover your garden all dressed in white… because the snow is making a comeback in Burgundy!

Towards Pouilly-en-Auxois (Côte-d’Or), west of Dijon, about 2 centimeters fell.

Côte-d’Or, Nièvre, Saône-et-Loire and Yonne are also placed on snow-ice yellow vigilance, until Sunday April 3, 6 a.m.

Note that the snowflakes have already started to fall on Friday, as in Serrières, in Saône-et-Loire.

In Chateau-Chinon, in the Nièvre, a few flakes were also observed!

However, the snow should not hold on the roads, according to Météo France. If you use your vehicle, you should still remain vigilant, as the prefecture of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté reminds us.

A low pressure center, located above Italy, would be at the origin of these snowfalls. A depression about to evacuate, which should leave the skies clear Sunday and Monday.

Be careful not to discover yourself too much because temperatures will not exceed 7 degrees in the regionthis week-end !
