The sun will rise at 6:04 a.m. and set at 9:09 p.m. Temperatures will fluctuate between 16°C and 23°C, i.e. temperatures 1°C above normal for the season, depending on Weather-Lyon. The day will be marked by clouds in the morning followed by sunny spells and possible thunderstorms at the end of the day. A north wind will blow at 10 km/h.

The air quality should be worse than that of May 22, at the “degraded” level, with ozone as the main pollutant, according to Atmo Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

Traffic and works in Lyon and its surroundings

  • A42. From May 22 to 25 inclusive, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, traffic will be prohibited between the Node des Iles and Porte de Croix Luizet, in both directions, to allow for maintenance work.
  • A47. From May 22 to 25 inclusive, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day:
    • The traffic will be prohibitedbetween La Madeleine (interchange no. 11) and Givors Ouest (interchange no. 10), towards Lyon, to allow for maintenance work.
    • Traffic will be reduced between the Ternay node and La Madeleine (interchange no. 11), towards Saint-Etienne, to allow repair work.
  • N346 – East ring road. On May 22 and 23, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, traffic will be prohibited, at the node of the Islands, in the direction of the A46 North, to allow for maintenance work.
  • A432. From May 10 to June 23, traffic will be continuously reduced between the Boisse node and Meyzieu (diffuser n°3), in the direction of Marseille, to allow renovation work.
  • D383 – Laurent Bonnevay ring road. From May 22 to 25 inclusive, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, traffic will be prohibited between Porte des Essarts and Porte de Croix Luizet, towards Paris, to allow for maintenance work.
  • Czechoslovakian Tunnel. Until August 18 inclusive, traffic will be prohibited on the access ramp to the tunnel from the Grande rue de la Guillotière, to allow safety work.
  • Soft Mode Tube of the Croix-Rousse Tunnel. From 22 to 25 May inclusive, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day, the circulation of pedestrians, buses and cycles will be prohibited, to allow for maintenance work.
  • Brotteaux-Servient Tunnel. Until June 30, 2023, traffic will be permanently prohibited, to allow work on the Part-Dieu project.
  • Metro B. Due to work on the tracks for the extension of the line, metro B traffic will be interrupted from 9:15 p.m. towards Gare d’Oullins, and 9:25 p.m. towards Charpennes on Mondays and Tuesdays. Several closing days are also planned until September 2023.
