Offenbach (dpa / lhe) – Despite the official beginning of spring on Saturday, the weather at the weekend in Hesse will be wintry. On Friday afternoon, according to the German Weather Service (DWD), it can snow in deep areas. On Saturday night, temperatures across the country plunge into negative territory. In the mountains it could be up to minus nine degrees, it said. Saturday remains free of precipitation. The DWD predicts a maximum of six degrees. In the evening, thick clouds should come up, which occasionally cause rain or snow at night and on Sunday.
