Weather – Offenbach am Main – Low ensures stormy Thursday in Thuringia – Panorama

Erfurt (dpa/th) – The people of Thuringia have to prepare for a stormy Thursday. A low over the North Sea also causes gusts of wind in the Free State, as a spokeswoman for the German Weather Service (DWD) said on Thursday morning. Hurricane-like gusts of up to 110 kilometers per hour are to be expected in the Thuringian Forest. According to the DWD, isolated thunderstorms can also occur from the afternoon. In the evening, the wind is expected to calm down temporarily before there are showers and freshening gusts of wind during the night.
